One unique feature of Chinsay is the automatic updating of watermarks on the output PDF documents when users go through the various contract creation and validation stages.
The aim of this article is to explain what each watermark means and the triggers for its appearance. You will also gain a clearer understanding of which stage the contract creation process is at simply by looking at the watermark.
NOT VALIDATED - This is the default watermark on "Main Recaps" (either of the clean or on subjects variety)
WORKING COPY - This is the default watermark on unpublished "Charter Party" (as at this stage, it is still on draft)
NOT VALIDATED - This still remains as the "Main Recap(s)" are not fully validated yet.
WORKING COPY - This still remains as the "Charter Party" is not fully validated yet.
(For "On Subjects" fixtures workflow - once the "Main Recap on Subjects" is published and fully validated at this stage, it is locked and the watermark will disappear)
Once subjects are lifted on the fixture, the watermarks will not change until the documents are fully validated (partial approval on Chinsay will not suffice!).
There is no watermark on the fully approved "Main Recap"
FIRST ORIGINAL and SECOND ORIGINAL are watermarks on the "Charter Party" and "Charter Party Copy" respectively
To change or customise these for a particular fixture, please contact Chinsay Support for assistance.
