Creating a New Fixture on Subjects (or B2B) means that you add an additional validation step for the recap on subs before you validate the clean fixed Main Recap and Charter Party. This strengthens internal compliance and risk management by ensuring that all changes made to the main recap during the negotiation will be captured and recorded by the trader before final validation by the parties of the "Main Recap On Subjects". Users can then compare the final agreed (clean-fixed) "Main Recap" with the "Main Recap On Subjects" to get an idea of what has changed following the close of negotiations.
You can choose this option in the "Create Fixture" menu or from the responsible members screen when creating a fixture.
This new variant of fixture on Chinsay makes it a lot easier to keep track of changes between the different recaps by simply using the "Compare" function. After validating the Main Recap On Subjects all differences between that and the clean fixed Main Recap will be logged via the compare button. So when you need to compare the two recaps to see the differences, you only have to click on "Compare" (Blue button shown below) and all the changes will be displayed. The items that have not changed between the recaps will not show up in the comparison.
**Please note that the Main Recap On Subjects has to be validated by all parties before you can lift subjects on Chinsay.
